Hoewood Point

Substantial renovation of two properties totaling 80 units.

Hoewood Point was an 80-unit Lemle & Wolff development project financed by HDC & HPD. Given the condition of the properties, tenants were relocated in phases to accommodate the construction scope of work and schedule.

The substantial renovation included joist replacement, all new apartments, extensive masonry repairs, new major systems, new windows, lead and asbestos abatement, and a comprehensive energy reduction program under Enterprise Green Communities. Each building also has a solar thermal system with rooftop panels that assist in heating the hot water supply.

Hoewood Point started construction in June 2012 and was completed in early 2014.

Total units: 80 plus two commercial spaces
Construction contract: $9.6 million
