Frank J. Anelante, Jr.
Frank Anelante is chief executive officer of the Lemle & Wolff group of companies. He has over twenty-five years experience in real estate management and development and nine years experience in public and private accounting.
After graduating college in 1969 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting, Mr. Anelante joined a public accounting firm where he worked as an audit manager in the real estate division. In 1977, he became treasurer of the New York City Community Preservation Corporation, where his primary responsibilities included instituting accounting policies and procedures, establishing a mortgage servicing department, and coordinating the closing of rehabilitation loans for buildings located in distressed areas of New York City.
Mr. Anelante joined Lemle & Wolff, Inc., a real estate management and development firm, in 1980, and became a principal in 1982. He focused the firm's efforts in the field of renovation of affordable housing and helped set the standards utilized in the moderate rehabilitation of buildings with tenants in occupancy. During his tenure, L&W completed the gut and/or moderate renovation of over one hundred twenty buildings, and expanded its development capabilities to include new construction projects. Since 1980, the firm's affordable housing portfolio grew from under forty buildings to in excess of three hundred.
Currently, Mr. Anelante serves on New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Neighborhood Investment Advisory Panel. Lemle & Wolff, Inc. is a past recipient of an award for national excellence under the Department of Housing and Urban Development's National Recognition Program for Community Development Partnerships.
